Privacy Policy

Last updated June 15, 2026

ImportSentry provides AD/CVD exposure screening for US importers. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and the free Exposure Screener, and how we use it. We are origin-neutral and supplier-agnostic, and we do not sell your information.

What we collect

  • What you enter in the screener — the HTS code or product description, country of origin, and (optionally) a supplier name. The screening lookup runs entirely in your browser; these inputs are not sent to us unless you submit them with a monitoring request.
  • Your email and monitoring request — if you ask us to monitor a product, we collect your email along with the product/origin you screened so we can send relevant coverage alerts.
  • Basic analytics — standard usage and referral data (e.g. which page you arrived from) to understand how the site is used and improve it.

How it's processed

  • Form processor — monitoring requests are delivered to us through a third-party form provider so we can store your email and the screening context and send your alerts.
  • Analytics provider — aggregate, privacy-respecting usage analytics. We do not use this to identify you personally.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from monitoring alerts at any time, and you can ask us to delete your email and associated records by contacting us. We retain monitoring-list data only as long as needed to provide the alerts you asked for.

Not legal advice

ImportSentry is decision-support, not legal, customs, or trade-compliance advice. Duty determinations depend on facts we cannot see — verify any rate with your licensed customs broker or trade counsel before you rely on it.
